InsuranceRaintree Pediatrics works closely with patients, families, and insurance carriers to ensure that quality care is delivered in a cost-effective manner. As the recipient of both this coverage and our care, you play an important role in assisting us in providing you with care that fits within those guidelines. The Parent/Guardian ResponsibilitiesPlease help us work cooperatively and efficiently with your insurance carrier by notifying us immediately if your coverage or insurance changes. You also are responsible for telling us before care or services are ordered about specific laboratories and other service providers which your insurance requires you to use in order to qualify for benefits. If in doubt, contact your insurers' customer service department for clarification. Insurance CarriersRaintree Pediatrics has contracts with most major carriers, but these can change from time to time. Please note that we do not accept Medicaid. For a list of the insurers we currently take please click here. Tests and LaboratoriesSome diagnostic tests can be performed in the lab at our office. Your insurance may designate specific laboratories or facilities to which you must be referred in order to receive full coverage for these tests and procedures. You will be billed separately for tests and service provided by an outside facility. It is your responsibility to know which facilities are covered by your plan and to communicate this to your child's doctor and nurses. If you are unsure, contact your insurer's customer service representative for clarification. BillingFor your convenience we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. There is also a PayPal link on our website page so that you may pay your bill online. PLEASE NOTE: Not all insurance plans are the same. Lower costs plans usually have higher co-pays and deductibles. We do not have information about your personal insurance coverage. We do not verify your child's benefits prior to your visit.
ProceduresPlease note that some services performed in-office such as: Circumcisions, impacted ear wax removal, sutures and breathing treatments are considered "procedures" and likely apply directly to your deductible. Please call your insurance carrier in advance to see if your deductible applies. You may call our billing office to assist in this matter as well. |
