Dr. Yuri Cook

Dr. Cook attended medical school at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.  He graduated from the Texas Children's Hospital Residency program in 1998 and practiced in Longview, Texas for 2 years before relocating to Allen in 2000.  Dr. Cook is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  His hobbies include aquarium keeping as well as road and mountain biking.  

 
Dr. Kim Smith

Dr. Smith joined RainTree Pediatrics in July 2005.  She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where she was elected to the AOA Medical Honor Society in 2002.  She then completed her pediatric training at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Dr. Smith is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She resides in Allen with her husband Dr. Adam Smith, a family practitioner, and son Alex.  She enjoys running, knitting and OU football.  

Amber Holifield, PA

Amber was born and raised in Temple, Texas. She completed her Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in 1998 and her Master of Science degree from the Baylor College of Medicine Physician Assistant Program in 2001. Following graduation, she worked in Asthma & Allergy for one year in Houston before shifting her focus to pediatrics. Amber has more than 6 years of experience in pediatrics, and has been with Dr. Cook since February 2004. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and The Society for PA's in Pediatrics. Amber cherishes long-lasting relationships with her patients and families. She loves spending time with her husband Dan and their FOUR dogs Snickers, Skittles, Oreo, and Tuff!

Sabrina Dorris, NP

Sabrina has been nursing since 1992 and received her Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2001. She has worked as a certified nurse practitioner in pediatrics for more than 7 years and joined RainTree Pediatrics in April 2005. Sabrina resides in McKinney with her husband and two teenage children where her husband works as a McKinney Firefighter/Paramedic. She enjoys an active lifestyle of running, cycling and swimming and plans on doing her first Ironman Triathlon in Florida November 2009!
